xmas 2009 family, food and fun x x

 we had great fun baking together

 and great fun watching my step dad eat a branston pickle mince pie!!

 christmas is all about the food!!

slow roast marks and Spencer belly pork was the centre piece of our new years buffet, it tastes out of this world, such an underrated piece of meat

now my friends that is what i call a pretty amazing Christmas dinner it consist of: honey roast parsnips, devils on horseback, pigs in blankets, sausage meat and nut stuffing, bay leaf stuffed chicken, brussel sprouts, carrot and swede mash seasoned with nut meg, cauliflower cheese, the best roasties ever crispy as you like, cranberry sauce, bread sauce, roasted red onions and beetroot in cheese sauce, champagne and Christmas crackers of course!!!!
